Notice to buyers of flood-damaged stock
A number of products distributed by Eureka Brands have been affected by recent flooding to some of our space during December 2010. This notice affects Montague Bikes and a small number of Nutcase Helmets which are likely to be sold to the public at recovery auctions during the month of January and March 2011.
In general, the items listed above have experienced mild, medium or severe water damage.
Montague Bicycles
If you are a recipient or buyer of Montague Bikes via any auctions (live or online) during 2011, please be aware that unfortunately no warranties are available even if the item is sold as ‘brand new in box’.
Montague Bikes’ warranties apply only to the original owner and these are voided once they are received by the insurer for recovery. Cleaning, rust inspection and any repairs may undertaken at your cost at your local bicycle store.
Assurances, returns and repairs for these water damaged items are the sole responsibility of the Auction Seller should they offer this option at the time of sale.
Nutcase Helmets
If you are a recipient or buyer of a small number of affected Nutcase Helmets via any auctions (live or online) during early-mid 2011, please be aware that unfortunately no warranty/return/exchange are available from the distributor or any Nutcase dealers even if the item is sold as ‘brand new in box’. For the most part, only helmet packaging was affected and this should not affect the helmet function.
